At Shabazz there is no such thing as bad art. We believe that everyone is an artist with a unique signature. Art at Shabazz offers students an opportunity to experience their creative talents as a way of expression and communication. Students are encouraged to take personal risks in a controlled environment by using their imaginations, exploring new ideas, and talking about their art. Students will further develop their critical thinking skills and abilities to problem solve through challenging assignments, class discussions, and class critiques.
