Handbook

Each participating school receives a staff development loose-leaf handbook. The handbook provides an overview of the Internet Detectives project and includes sections on Internet search strategies, evaluation guidelines, sample Web site evaluation forms and information about writing site summaries. The handbook is also available online for the benefit of teachers and students everywhere.

Web Site

Information about Internet Detectives, as well as many resources for the project, is available on the Web site. Teachers and students everywhere have access to the student-recommended sites, as well as to the online resources that support the processes involved in locating and evaluating Web sites.

Listserv

MMSD teachers who are participating in Internet Detectives can interact with each other and with the project advisory team through a listserv.
